Dr. Amanda Trotti
Dr. Trotti is a native New Yorker who graduated from Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine in 2003. She emigrated to Canada in 2006 with her husband (lovingly known as the other Dr. Trotti with less hair) and has been practicing in the Greater Toronto Area since.
Dr. Trotti enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but her main passion lies in patient education, preventive dental care, and exploring the link between oral and systemic health. She is a part time clinical instructor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry’s department of Oral Radiology and is a very active volunteer in organized dentistry; she currently sits on the executive team as sponsorship chair of the York Region Dental Society and serves as a member both the Ontario Dental Association’s Political Action Committee and its General Council.
When she is not saving the world one tooth at a time, Dr. Trotti can be found engaged in a very spirited game of Catan, practicing her French on Duolingo, or training for yet another marathon (which she always swears will be her last, but it never quite works out that way).
