Deer Park Dental Fee Schedule
Here at Deer Park Dental we follow the most recent version of the Ontario Dental Associations recommended fee guide. The universal fee guides are updated annually, and are helpful for patients focused on finding the right office that fits their dental needs versus having to shop around looking for reduced fees.
The costs involved with dental care can be confusing, but here’s a simplified breakdown of how it generally works:
Dental Cleanings/Scalings are based of units of time spent providing these services
Restorations/Fillings are based on the size or the number of tooth surfaces that are involved
Surgical Procedures are based off the complexity of the procedure, along with the costs of materials/supplies involved with procedure
Exams/X-rays/Dental Appliances/fluoride/sealants fees are all based on the particular type of service and may include laboratory costs.
There are a multiple variables that affect the fee for an individual service. That is why we ensure detailed and accurate estimates are provided for all our patients. If you have dental benefits through your insurance coverage, we will send estimates to your provider on your behalf to receive prior approval(predetermination).
Dental Insurance
At Deer Park Dental, we electronically file your dental insurance claim for you, to ensure your insurance provider has all the information they need. No action will be required by you!
In addition, we will send estimates and will aid in any additional information needed to help you maximize coverage your benefits.
No Dental Insurance
Patients who don’t have dental insurance benefits will be provided with detailed estimates for treatment options so that there are no surprises when it comes to costs.
However, we do encourage patients who qualify for the Canadian Dental Care Plan to enroll and make use of the benefits that it provides.
Patients under the Canadian Dental Care Plan
The CDCP is a federal government-initiated program that provides financial assistance to qualifying patients for dental care. The plan is divided into 3 tiers of coverage, depending on household income. Click here for more details about how to apply and information on plan coverage.
